A Personal Oceanic Fascination
The ocean has always been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me. Since my childhood, the blue of its depths captivated me, a blue that, like my tastes, transformed and matured over time. The ocean represents the freshness of the marine depths, the liberating feeling of navigating with the winds, the wild nature, and the thrilling adventures of maritime exploration. And of course, marine life, with all the beauty and complexity of nature. All these elements, I have distilled into the very essence of Ballet Abyssal. The Aesthetics of the Bottle: A Bold Design
As you know, aesthetics are paramount in each of my creations. With Ballet Abyssal, I ventured into a design that is both bold and elegant. The bottle, uniquely spherical, presents an unconventional slice that rises from its base to its summit - a metaphor for the ascent from the abyssal depths to the light. The pump's cap, tall and majestic, adds to the bottle's stature, evoking the grandeur of oceanic waves.
A Captivating Blue Gradient: The Essence of the Ocean
The color of the bottle is a central element of this creation. A deep blue envelops the bottle, except for the golden cap which beautifully contrasts. Most striking is the blue gradient, a flux and reflux reminiscent of the waves and undercurrents. The bottle thus evokes a journey from the dark and mysterious seabed to the bright clarity of the surface.
The Cap: A Symbol of Movement
The perfume cap, evoking a wave in full action, symbolizes the ocean's dynamism and energy. The Name: A Poetic Evidence
Finding the perfect name was not an easy task. After much reflection, Ballet Abyssal imposed itself. The word 'Ballet' evokes movement, the dance of marine life, while 'Abyssal' brings a touch of originality and depth, standing out from the too common names evoking the ocean. Musical Inspiration: An Oceanic Melody
As a musician and music lover, I must share with you a musical inspiration that accompanied the creation of this perfume. Late at night, while outlining Ballet Abyssal, I listened to the famous Scheherazade by Rimsky-Korsakov. Although this work is inspired by the Thousand and One Nights, it is full of marine themes, perfectly in line with the concept of movement and life that I wanted for this perfume. I strongly encourage you to listen to its four movements to dive into the universe of this composer, a former sailor, whose inspiration often came from the sea.
An Artistic Tribute to the Ocean

In the field of painting, Hokusai's The Wave, with its iconic image of a powerful and magnificent wave, symbolizes the uncontrollable force and majestic beauty of the sea. This print has become a universal symbol of the sea and its impact on humanity.

They have been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me in the creation of Ballet Abyssal, seeking to capture this essence in a fragrance that, I hope, will transport you to the vast and mysterious underwater world.

And yes, curiously, I have not yet spoken about the specific fragrance of Ballet Abyssal. This deliberate omission aims to awaken your curiosity and stimulate your imagination.
